This is the path through the remaining allotments. Although not a right-of-way, as well as plotholders, many others use it regularly, as a pleasant, direct, but not too steep, route to shops, buses or work. The new footpath would not serve the same purpose. At the moment, visitors help to keep the site free from vandalism.
